The connectivity to the Changi Region is being significantly enhanced to support the growth of Changi Airport. The newly announced Cross Island Line Phase 1 will complement existing MRT lines, reducing travel time to the area. Additionally, studies are underway to extend both the Cross Island Line and the Thomson-East Coast Line to serve Changi Airport directly. New road corridors and improvements are also planned to facilitate smoother traffic flow. The Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at the future Terminal 5 could enable seamless “fly-ferry” connections, further boosting accessibility.
